I cannot get over how sweet this little guy looked in his mommy’s arms! My favorite part about newborn sessions, is capturing the connection between babies and their families. A few days ago, I took pictures of Jerrett with his whole family and yesterday I got to focus on him and his mom. He is such an alert little guy, but he took a little nap for us so we could get some sweet sleepy pictures! This was the first time during a session that I had a newborn lose their umbilical cord. With my own kids, it made me a little sad when they lost their umbilical cord, because that is what connected us for nine months. But right after he lost it, I got this beautiful shot of him and his mom. I think you can see a connection that is stronger than any cord in this picture. Congratulations K family!
