12 days old {Gridley newborn pictures}

Meet Saylor!  I just love these newborn pictures.  This baby girl is as cute as her name.  She was 12 days old for her newborn photo shoot, which is the perfect time for sleepy baby pictures.  I used pinks, grays and yellows for her shoot since her mom brought a few pink items and she also mentioned that she loved sunflowers.  I had fun arranging sunflowers around my little twig nest and this baby girl looked so sweet nestled in the middle of the bright, summer flowers! We also did some chin on hand poses to show off this girls amazing eyelashes.  I’m jealous.  She is such a little sweetheart.  We were going to try for one more bonus pose at the end of her session but after sleeping soundly through her shoot, little Saylor was awake and alert with no intention of going back to sleep, so we got some sweet shots of her pretty eyes looking around instead.  Here are a few of my favorite images from her newborn photography session:
