This was such a special friend photo session with Tanya and Fukumi! Fukumi is from Japan and has been a foreign exchange student at Chico State. They booked a mini photo session, because they have grown so close and wanted to get some professional pictures together before Fukumi goes back to Japan. They chose two words for their photo session together, “thankful” and “sisters.” I loved this because I was a foreign exchange student myself and I’m so thankful for the close friendships that I made living abroad almost 20 years ago. When you live so far away from your family and make a good friend, it feels like family and they always carry a special place in your heart. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from their session:
