I met Tanya for the first time last year when I was doing Fall mini sessions. She and her friend did a friend session together. This time, we were celebrating her college graduation! We planned these pictures a while ago but wanted to wait until she rented her cap and gown so we could take some graduate shots at Chico State. It was great seeing her again and we had so much fun taking these pictures. The wind was a little bit insane, but we used it to our advantage. We definitely had to stop a few times for some big gusts to blow by, but I love the way her curly hair looked blowing in the wind. We were able to take pictures in all her favorite spots around campus. Having just come back from Spain myself, I was both excited and (a little jealous) to learn that she is off to Barcelona to celebrate her graduation. She has a college degree and the world at her fingertips and I love that the first thing she is going to do is to take an adventure on her own and see what else is out there!
