Bright Eyed Girl {Butte County Newborn Photographer}

This newborn baby girl came into this world a little reluctantly and almost two weeks late.  She apparently does not like to be rushed and likes to do things on her own terms.  Her newborn session was amazing, but definitely on her terms as well. She was not very sleepy during her session but she gave me the most amazing eye contact, so I didn’t mind.  She was one of the most observant and alert newborns I have seen!  We got some lovely shots of her awake and when she got sleepy, we also got some sweet ones of her sleeping.  I love when I get to photograph a couple for their maternity pictures and then do their newborn session too.  It’s beautiful to see the excitement and anticipation of the baby to come and then to see them as a family right after they meet their new baby.  Here are a few of my favorite images from their newborn session:
