Perfect Recipe {California fall family pictures}

One of my favorite things about being a photographer in California is that all the sunbursts are real here in Chico. No Photoshop required!  This session was the perfect recipe for family pictures.  First, you take a darling big brother who is willing to take a few pictures as long as I give him breaks in between (I think he is going to be a union man), dramatic backlight, two loving and go with the flow parents and a happy baby.  Some beautiful fall colors were the icing on the cake.  A photographer really can’t ask for anything more than that!  Little Bowie has changed so much since I met her a few months ago at her newborn session.  I love how gorgeous and fun these pictures came out.  Here are a few of my favorite images from this awesome family session:
