Maximilian {Chico infant photography}

Although we got several sleepy newborn pictures in this session, I’m pretty sure Max was just blinking in most of these sleepy baby shots!  This little guy was wide awake but super mellow.  He is used to his three big fur brothers barking him to sleep so all of my tricks were less effective.  It was fine with me that he took a while to go to sleep because it just meant that I got to spend more time with him!  Max’s dad is a soccer coach so I wasn’t allowed to use blue in their pictures but we got to use some fun soccer props.  I had a tiny soccer ball made for his session and they also brought some items from home.  We also had to use my newborn size turnouts so we could get a shot of him with his mom in her fire gear.  It was adorable!  Here are a few of my favorite images from his newborn session:
