Anytime somebody chooses me as a newborn photographer, I consider it a great honor. The recommended time for newborn photography is within the first few weeks and those weeks are the most exhausting as a new mom. So, when somebody decides to take the time in those first few weeks to have me take their baby’s pictures, I am always very grateful for the opportunity to document this special time. This session was an even greater honor because it was for my favorite kindergarten teacher. She was so amazing with my son and his friends, I was so thankful to have her again as my daughter’s kindergarten teacher. So when she picked me for her newborn photographer, I was honored to get to spend some time with her little one, since she has done such a great job with my little ones. I learned about this little lady when my daughter came home from school and told me that her teacher was having a girl. I was so excited for her. She is wonderful with all the kids in her class, so I knew she was going to be the most amazing mom. I got to hear second hand all about her growing belly and I even heard some of the names the class suggested. The name Bumblebee was in the running, but Evelyn Isabel fits this beautiful little lady much better. We decided on pinks and purples for her session and since her nursery is decorated with butterflies, we took a few pictures of her with little butterfly wings too. She is a sweetheart and I had so much fun spending time with her, her mama, and her grandma who came along too. Congratulations Maestra Landeros!
