Elephant Ears {Northern California Newborn Photographer}

Let’s start with this newborn baby boy’s name, Walter.  It’s the cutest.  I love older names (I do have a Jack and a Nora at home!).  Meeting him and his parents was so much fun.  We started with family pictures and then took Walter’s individual portraits.  I was warned that Walter was a obsessed with his hands in his face, so I was ready for a bit of a fight.  I am a little particular about hand placement!  He relented for his photo shoot, though and let me pose him and place his hands however I wanted.  He was such a little gentleman!  They were expecting little Walter to have big ears, so his auntie made him an elephant hat for his photo shoot.  Although his ears are perfectly proportionate to his little body, we still got some cute shots of him in his hat.  Supporting those floppy elephant ears in the picture was not an easy task.  The elephant ears on his hat proved be more of a challenge than his little hands, but it all came out beautiful in the end.  Here are a few of my favorite images from his newborn session:
