Oh my goodness, I love these newborn family pictures! Sweet little Paige and her sister, Tessa were just darling together with their mom and dad. Originally we were going to do this shoot in their home but they decided they wanted to do it in my studio instead, so we shot their family pictures in the bedroom next to my studio and I love the way they came out. I have been wanting to shoot in this room for a while. It has a northern facing window (ideal for light) and everything else is crisp and white. When it comes to newborn family shots, I love to keep it clean and simple so the focus is on the emotion and the excitement of their new arrival. I adore the sibling shots that I got of Tessa and Paige and we got some beautiful backlit pictures with her and her parents too. Paige was a trooper during her family pictures but she was just not tired during her individual shots. We waited her out though and eventually she fell asleep and we were able to get some gorgeous images of this new little lady. Here are a few of my favorites from their newborn family session:
