Happy Cowboy {Chico newborn photographer}

Oh man, this little guy was so cute and smiley during his newborn session.  He is a tiny guy but I know that won’t last long because I had to take a lot of steps back to get his dad in the picture frame.  My heart melted when he smiled during his pictures with his mom and he smiled again for me later too!  There is no secret to getting newborns to smile, but I can usually tell when it’s about to happen and I was so glad I got some of his cute little grins.  His parents wanted a cowboy theme and I was really excited to use some of my new cowboy newborn props.  Here are a few of my favorite images from his newborn session:
