What an honor to be the photographer for this family again this year! There was a little pressure, because last time one of JJ’s pictures that I took ended up on the Jumbotron in New York! It is so much fun to get to see kids and families grow and I was surprised at how tall JJ has gotten in the past year and how much more he is talking! I was not surprised at how fast he was, I knew that I had to be prepared to “capture” this guy quite literally. During his session, JJ found the one thing that can keep up with him…his shadow! As he was running down the lane at my grandparent’s ranch, he noticed something running right along side of him and it was so cute to see him running with his shadow. We also had a fun photo opt with some old farm equipment and a gorgeous sunset shot of two amazing parents! Oh and did I forget to mention the guest appearance by Pickles the dog?
