Meet Riley! She couldn’t wait to make her appearance, so she arrived three weeks early. She also couldn’t wait for her first photo session, and we were able to do it at 6 days old! Her mom wanted to do some Easter pictures because she was due around Easter, but she came a little early and bunny ears are way cuter than St. Patrick’s Day green, so we kept with the Easter theme. Because her parents love riding horses, we also incorporated that into her session. We made sure to include a bridal that was given to her mom by her great grandma. I’m sure her great grandma would have been proud to see her already in the saddle at six days old. Riley did a great job with her sleepy poses but woke up and was not sleepy enough for the saddle pose, so we gave her a little intermission, and they took a lunch break and came back for the saddle picture. I’m so glad they did because she went right to sleep and posed perfectly on it. It is clear that she is already very comfortable riding a horse and knows that is where she belongs. She reached right for the reigns and settled in for a little nap! Here are a few of my favorites from her session:
