As a newborn photographer in Chico, I get to photograph many expecting parents and it’s amazing to see two people so full of joy. This shoot, announcing the pregnancy of my friend, Jessica was especially exciting. When she texted me and asked if I would take a few pictures for her in a pumpkin patch, I knew instantly that it wasn’t just of her and Greg. I met him when we were all at Spring training in March and I could tell that Jessica had found a great guy and that they were happy and very serious. I’m a little skeptical about Greg’s intentions for having a baby, because he was pretty jealous of my son, Jack who got to stand in the kid line and got a ton of autographs. I remember him asking to borrow Jack, but now he will have a child of his own and he will get to stand in the kid line too. Regardless of their intentions, this is going to be one lucky baby. I have seen Jessica with a class of first graders and she is an amazing teacher. She is going to make an amazing mom and I couldn’t be happier for her and Greg.
