My guy!

I’ve been photographing everyone else’s babies and decided to take an evening to photograph one of mine.  This guy graduated from elementary school this week and I wanted to mark the occasion with some shots to capture him in this moment in time.  These moments that are passing so quickly, my heart can’t handle it!  I love the little man he is becoming even as my heart aches for the little kid he used to be.  I know that all too soon, he will be getting his senior pictures and so I wanted to have a little point of reference now.  I asked him if he wanted me to take some graduation pictures of him and I knew he would do it for me but to my great surprise, he was actually into it!  We did a few shots at my family’s ranch and then we went to a baseball field with pretty light and got some shots of him with his baseball gear, doing one of the things he loves most.  We ended the session with an ice cream date and had a great little evening just the two of us.  Here are a few of my favorite images from his session:
