This is Craig! He is the biggest, healthiest and sweetest newborn baby boy! Craig was about 10 pounds already when we did his newborn shoot, even though he was only 9 days old! He was one of the most alert babies I have photographed. Even though he was not interested in sleeping during his newborn session, he did humor me for a few sleepy shots. It’s possible he was just pretending to sleep, because he seemed very happy to be awake and not willing to miss a thing. We did their family maternity session when the almond blossoms were in bloom. His parents are very photogenic, so I was not surprised that Craig was too. We split his newborn session and did some indoor shots the first day and then his mom and dad were brave enough to venture out in the park so we could do some outdoor shots as well. He was very interested in his first trip to Bidwell Park, but he closed his eyes again for a few shots. Here are a few of my favorites from his session:
