Being a newborn photographer really highlights how quickly babies grow. Last summer, I took sweet Noemi’s newborn pictures and her mama’s maternity pictures and it seems like just a few months ago. I can’t believe it has been a whole year since I have seen their family and this sweet girl. It is really fun to do a one year session after taking newborn pictures because you can see how much little babies change, but also how much they stay the same. Noemi has the same sweet little face from her newborn pictures, but instead of the sleepy baby girl that I met a year ago, I got to see her little personality growing. She is a little girl surrounded by love and it is obvious how much she loves her big brothers and her mom and dad. Noemi wasn’t the only one that had grown in the past year. I had to adjust a few of my planned poses during their session, because her two brothers had gotten so tall! I have known these boys since they were little and it is unbelievable to me that they are now young men! We started this session with some family pictures in upper park and then we went to Five Mile to do Noemi’s cake smash session. Her mom sent me pictures of all her possible outfits before the shoot and it was nearly impossible for us to decide between all of her darling outfits! We chose pink and gold and the colors looked adorable with her dark hair and big smile. Here are a few of my favorites from her session:
