I am a little behind in my blogging, so this isn’t a sneak peek, but more of a review of the month of June which went by insanely fast! I delivered these pictures a few weeks ago, but I still wanted to write a post about them and share a few of my favorites because this year I have gotten to know this awesome family with these sweet boys and this was little Troy’s one year cake smash photo session. We chose to schedule this session in the morning. It is hard to get the whole family ready early in the morning before the sun gets too bright, but these days when the sun rises early and sets late, it’s also difficult to keep them awake until sunset, not to mention the insane heat in the afternoon and evening! However, somehow we managed to schedule this shoot on the ONE chilly day this June and of course we had a vision of Troy in a bow tie and no shirt. There were some blankets involved between pictures and a flannel thrown in, but we made it work and I love the way these pictures turned out. It has really been a joy to get to know this family and I will miss seeing Dane and Troy’s faces every few months! After all, Dane did say we are best friends now…Here are a few of my favorites from their session:
