Preemie Princess {Chico Newborn Photography}

Happy due date and happy six week birthday to this sweet newborn baby girl!  Olivia James surprised everyone and showed up six weeks early.  She was all ready to enter the world, arriving with two teeth!  I photographed her cousin Sebastian last December, and was expecting big chunky cheeks like his, but was met with the most gorgeous big eyes instead.  She has the most beautiful little features.  Her last name is Castillo, which is fitting because she is a little princess.  Her mom looked so amazing in her floral shawel for her maternity pictures, and we decided to keep the same floral theme in Olivia’s newborn pictures, since her nursery was decorated with florals too.  Often with premature babies, I wait until closer to their due date to do their session, but this little lady came home from the hospital after just a few weeks and was gaining weight like a champ, so we went for it and we had a perfect session.  Here are a few of my favorite pictures from her newborn session:
