After taking her mom’s maternity pictures in the almond blossoms in early spring, I knew I wanted to incorporate flowers into Camryn’s newborn pictures. I just bought a little twig bed and was able to add a few flowers to it for a fun whimsical look. We stuck to pinks, whites and purples to go with her maternity pictures and I love the way the colors turned out. Her newborn session was done in my studio and her family pictures on my grandparents ranch. Camryn’s grandma was able to join in on the family pictures so we got her first three generation picture and all three ladies looked just beautiful! I love taking newborn pictures in my studio because I can control the light, the temperature and I have all my baby props on hand, but I also love the look of outdoor pictures with a new baby. For this gallery, we got the best of both worlds. Much like her maternity pictures during the spring rain, the weather did not cooperate with us and we had to reschedule because it was over 100 degrees, but we waited for a day that was a little cooler and luckily these girls look beautiful in the rain and in the summer heat. Here are a few of my favorites from her gallery:
