Session Info

 

Newborn Sessions:

The ideal time for sleepy newborn sessions is within 2 weeks of birth.  For this reason, it is a good idea to book in advance and reserve your due date so that I can make sure to keep shoot dates available around the time your baby is due.  A retainer fee of $50 is required to reserve your newborn session.  This fee is applied to the total price of the newborn package that you choose.   When I add your due date to my calendar, I reserve a few possible dates for your session around your due date but the date of the session is finalized after your baby is born or when you know the date of birth in the case of a planned birth.  Newborn sessions usually take between 2-3 hours.  My newborn sessions are done in my studio in Chico, CA.  I provide all props and accessories for your newborn baby.  If there is something from home that you want to incorporate in your session, I recommend letting me know in advance so that I can make sure to create set ups that coordinate with your items.  If you are doing a full session with family pictures, I will provide a coordinating wrap or outfit for your baby to wear during family pictures.

Family/Maternity Sessions:

For family and maternity sessions we meet at one of the beautiful locations in Chico.  Some of my favorite locations are upper and lower park, Chico State, the tree farm and my family’s ranch.  If you have a location preference you can let me know, otherwise I choose whatever location I think is best at the time of year of your session. I will send you an email when you contact me through my inquiry page with a few questions that will help me choose the best location and props for your session.

What does my package include?

All of my packages include your session fee and the specified number of fully edited digital images from your session with a print release.  When I am finished editing your images, you will receive an email from me with a link to your gallery.  Galleries are available for two weeks after you receive this email.  Additional digital images are available for purchase.  Prints are available for purchase upon request or I can recommend my favorite print site to purchase prints online.
