These baby photos are extra special to me, because I have known this little boy’s mommy since our Washington DC trip in 8th grade. Anna and I hung out together on that trip for the first time and posed for a picture on a giant hand. Eleven years later, we returned to DC together for my bachelorette party before I got married and we took another picture on that same hand. That was ten years ago, and now her little kids are posing for us! I have so many wonderful memories of Anna, and she has always been there with me during life’s big important moments, and a lot of little moments in between. It was an honor to be able to photograph these special moments for her and her family and to see her daughter, Ramona become a big sister as Anna and her husband, Geoff welcomed their little boy, August into the world. Life is an adventure and I have had many adventures with Anna. I loved seeing her with her husband and babies on this new adventure of having two children. I loved that Ramona painted her own nails and chose her own outfit for their family portraits. She reminds me so much of my daughter, who we hope will be her future adventure buddy.
