This has been the month of early newborn babies! Little Stephen Andrew arrived four weeks before his due date. He was sixteen days old for his newborn pictures, and even though that is a little out of the window that I normally recommend, he did a great job sleeping for me and I was able to get him into all my favorite newborn poses. I am in love with the portrait of Stephen in his dad’s hands, where you can see just how tiny he is right now and I think it looks extra cool with his dad’s tattoo! Stephen’s skin was perfect, and he has such a cute little profile. We got lots of sweet sleepy shots and one adorable shot of him giving the camera a little smirk. He made the cutest little faces and I was so happy to get one on camera! His mom wanted a black and white picture of her looking at her new baby boy so I picked a dark backdrop for a high contrast black and white conversion and she looked radiant looking at her newborn son.
