Riley is one! She was so adorable in her newborn pictures one year ago and I couldn’t wait to see how she had grown. We had her cake smash session in a pasture on my grandparent’s property. Her parents were hoping to get some cows in one of the shots and we got lucky, because they were all curious and came over to see what we were doing! Little Riley was super sweet and went right to me when she arrived. We took some family pictures and then we got some portraits of her all by herself before we did her cake smash. We wanted to make sure to get a shot of her with her grandma’s bridle again, like we did in her newborn pictures, so I put her on a wooden horse with her special bridle. Her grandma made her a banner for her birthday party that said, “You are my sunshine”, so we used that for her cake smash pictures too. Her mom wanted a rustic look to her pictures, so we did them by my grandparent’s barn. Did I mention that her little dog, Daisy joined in the fun too? These two share a room and so we had to get a picture of Riley with her roommate! Here are a few of my favorites from her session:
