Oh man, I have missed newborn photography! I have been calling the Butte County Health Department every few days for weeks and finally got the green light to open with new precautions. This baby girl has no idea that she was born during a historic lockdown, she is just enjoying her time at home with her parents and her big brother. For this session, dad brought antlers in for some images and we mixed them with pinks, creams and florals. We also got some amazing eye contact, which is one of my favorite things about older newborn sessions. Her big brother was a darling little helper, he helped me pick out a wrap for her to match his shirt and he tried a few on himself. He enjoyed turning my studio light on for me and was a sweetheart during the entire shoot. This session was special because it was the first time back in my studio and I was so happy to finally get to document this special time for this family.
