It’s not every day I get to take newborn pictures for my cousin and her new baby girl! We had so much fun planning these baby pictures. Jodi is a great lover of the color purple, so I made sure to leave all my pink at home when I packed for this photo shoot (literally I think that might have been the only thing I left at home, because I was so excited to pack for this shoot!) I don’t normally travel this far for baby portraits, but for this girl, I would have gone anywhere. We have been anxiously awaiting her arrival for even longer than Jodi has been pregnant. We are all in love with this girl. Here are a few of my favorite shots from her newborn photography session:

I love these little Marron toes!
This picture is one of my favorites. My aunt found the squares from this blanket knitted by my grandma before she passed away a few years ago. She put the squares together and gave the blanket to my cousin on the day of her baby shower. It was so sweet to have a little gift from Grandma Marron, who loved babies and was always one of the first to hold a new little family member. She would always comment about how dear babies were and I know she would agree that this little one is very dear!
This is not one of my usual poses with dad, but little Tinley likes to be held by her daddy this way when he burps her and so I had to get a shot of it. This Tannaci coined pose is called, “Little Bear in a Tree”!
Tinley’s Opa stopped by during her pictures and he had the best hands, so we decided to take a few shots of this tiny little lady in her grandpa’s big hands.
