I took Michelle and John’s family pictures in the Fall and loved getting to hang out with their family. This time, we had an even more special photo shoot! They contacted me a while ago to let me know they were eloping and I was so excited to be a part of their special day. It was top secret! Besides their kids, the only guests were their parents who thought they were just going to a family photo shoot and learned when they arrived that it would be a wedding! We were a little worried about the rain, but we embraced it by bringing fun umbrellas and it really added to the excitement of the day. We got some clear umbrellas and they kept the wedding party dry and made for fun photo props. John also brought some surprise photo props for a fun picture at the end! Michelle and John are so easy to photograph, they are super photogenic and their connection is easy to capture. I think the pictures in the rain are my very favorite. I didn’t post any pictures after the event, because I we wanted the wedding announcements to be a surprise but I am so excited to share a few of my favorites now:
