About 80% of the time that moms hire me as a newborn photographer, they tell me that their baby will be early, but babies usually end up coming whenever they please. This mom has done this a few times and when she said her little guy would arrive early, she was right on the money. Ethan arrived four weeks early and was a sweet, healthy little boy. He even had a few little chubby rolls already! Ethan has two siblings, one sister and one brother to look out for him in this world and he is their “Cutie Beauty.” His older sister, Lydia came up with that name and it is adorable and it fits!
His brother and sister came for the beginning of his session so we could get a few shots with them. I especially love the picture of all three of them smiling. Getting two toddlers and a newborn to smile all at the same time is pretty fantastic, but it helped that these two kids were so excited to welcome their Cutie Beauty into their family. Ethan was very patient with me while I was posing him and taking his individual pictures, but he was fighting going to sleep. He nursed, I swaddled him but then he let out a little burp and he was out for a nap. Sometimes, that is all it takes and you just have to let it pass! It was worth the short wait, because I just love all these sweet images of this guy. Here are a few of my favorites:
